Tempurpedic Mattresses: A Review and Comparison of Tempurpedic Brand Mattresses

Tempurpedic mattresses are gaining in popularity as more consumers flock to foam mattresses.

However, as they increase in sales, so do the number of brands and manufacturers producing them. For a product comparison overview of some of the top brands of memory foam mattresses, including Tempurpedic beds, keep reading.

Tempurpedic Classic Mattress

Basics: The Tempurpedic Classic is one of the world’s best known Tempurpedic mattresses. It typically retails for around $1900 for a Queen Size.

Pros: The mattress is known for its excellent spinal support, and allows your hip and shoulders to sink into the mattress while still providing support to the spine and legs.

Cons: Because Tempurpedic mattresses will react to the room temperature, they can often feel too firm in cold weather. They can also take some getting used to as foam mattresses aren’t as soft as traditional spring mattresses.

Also, some buyers complain about the smell of the Tempurpedic Classic. This smell is like a new car smell that goes away after a few weeks, but it can be bothersome at first.

Bergad Isoform Tempurpedic Classic Mattress

Basics: The Bergad Isoform Classic foam mattress is like a budget version of Tempurpedic mattresses. It usually retails for around $800 for a Queen sized mattress.

Pros: The biggest advantage of the Bergad Isoform Tempurpedic mattresses is the price – they’re significantly cheaper than other brands without sacrificing quality.

Like Tempurpedic brand mattresses, the Bergad is known for providing great spinal support and a comfortable, foam mattress experience.

Cons: The biggest drawback to the Bergad Isoform is that it’s only available online, meaning you can’t try it out in a store before purchasing. The company will accept returns, but the buyer is responsible for shipping charges in both directions.

If you’re not sure if you’d enjoy the experience of sleeping on a foam mattress, you may want to try out several other Tempurpedic mattresses in a store before purchasing this one.

Jobri BetterRest Memory Foam Mattress

Basics: The Jobri BetterRest memory foam bed is designed by a company known for its ergonomic and back support products. While they’re not traditionally a mattress manufacturer, they are back experts. The unit typically retails for around $1100 for a Queen sized mattress.

Pros: Again, the Jobri BetterRest system is significantly cheaper than other Tempurpedic mattresses, but they’re also adjustable. Users can adjust the bed for an elevated head or feet position. Units also come with a 20-year limited warranty.

Cons: Despite having several manufacturing centers throughout the United States, Jobri is still a somewhat small company and simply doesn’t have the brand recognition or support that other larger brands of Tempurpedic mattresses have. If you’re looking for a high-profile name, this isn’t it.
