Tempurpedic complaints and complaints about most memory foam mattresses are generally about heat.
Because memory foam is very dense, they can make it seem hotter to someone who is used to sleeping on a regular mattress.
Cheaper brands of memory foam do not retain heat as much as the more expensive Tempurpedic foam, because it tends to be less dense. The denser the foam, the hotter the mattress will be.

If you are nervous that you are not going to be happy with a memory foam bed, go with a retailer that will let you do a home trial before making the actual purchase. This way you can test it out to see if it really is right for you.
Look for a lengthy home trial period. If you don't have very much time with the new mattress, your body might not have time to adjust to the change.
Give it Time!
There's no real reason to panic even if you do find it a little too warm sleeping on your new Tempurpedic.
Complaints of over-heating often come right after someone has purchased their first Tempurpedic mattress, because they are not used to how the foam reacts to their body heat, but rarely come after they have had the mattress for a while.
After you have had the mattress for a little while, your body will adjust to the changes that the foam cause in temperature and you will notice more of the benefits of a Tempurpedic. Complaints will be a thing of the past.
